Acrolinx GmbH offers solutions to improve consistency, clarity, and translatability for documents. Its technology is based on scientific language technology and computational linguistics methods. Acrolinx offers a service called acrocheck (TM) that performs quality assurance checks on technical documentation to reduce problems with translation, terminology capturing, and quality control. It flags issues and provides correction suggestions as the technical author uses the tool, checking style, terminology consistency, grammar, and spelling. It integrates with Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, XMetaL and XMetaL ActiveX, Arbortext Epid, and TRADOS TagEditor, and a standalone Batch Client is also available for batch checking. The full standard system supports English, German, and French. Users can build customized documentation guidelines into the system.
