Big Bang LLC, founded as ACM Consulting in 1998, provides businesses with training services and software. The firm originally provided clients with ISO 9000 quality systems training and application development services. In 2001, working with Binary Research International (BRI), it began providing customers with Symantec Ghost training. ACM Consulting changed its name to Big Bang Training in 2002. The company was renamed Big Bang LLC in 2004, when it released the Universal Imaging Utility (UIU) hard disk imaging software. UIU generates a single image file that can be deployed to a variety of desktop and laptop computers. The program eliminates the need to maintain multiple image files. It integrates with Symantec Ghost, Altiris, ZenWorks, and other imaging software. UIU resets Microsoft (R) Windows (R) 2000/XP systems. It automatically detects different hardware platforms, installs updated driver databases, and runs Microsoft Sysprep. Big Bang also provides clients with Symantec Ghost training documentation. BRI, founded in 1997 and based in Glendale, Wisconsin, is the exclusive worldwide distributor of UIU. BRI's former parent company Binary Research Limited, based in New Auckland, New Zealand, developed the Ghost (TM) software cloning utility. The firm was acquired by Symantec Corporation, based in Cupertino, California, in 1998. Following the acquisition, Ghost was renamed Symantec Ghost, and BRI was spun off as an independent, privately owned company. Big Bang LLC is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The firm holds Symantec Ghost training seminars across the United States.
