Xerox (R) Corporation's Xerox Innovation Group (XIG), based in Webster, New York, is a research unit that develops office copiers, laser printers, large-format digital color printers, print-on-demand (POD) machines, workstations, Ethernet printer network systems, and other products. It is known for the DocuTech, DocuPrint, Docushare, DocuColor askOnce (TM), Glossmark (TM) lines of products. It also develops micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). XIG is affiliated with Xerox Corporation's Wilson Center for Research and Technology, Imaging and Services Technology Center (ISTC), Xerox Research Centre Europe (XRCE), Xerox Research Centre of Canada (XRCC), Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), and Xerox Engineering Center (XEC). Parent company Xerox Corporation was founded as The Haloid Company in 1906. It is based in Rochester, New York.
