Pacific Internet Limited (PacNet), incorporated in 1995, provides businesses across Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Australia, India, Thailand, and Malaysia with Internet communications services. The firm's IP network supports data, voice, and video traffic. The company offers customers access, global roaming, hosting, data security, wireless, domain name registration, virtual private network (VPN), collaboration, and other products and services. It is Singapore's only multi-wire broadband operator. PacNet was the first provider in Singapore to offer residential customers wireless broadband services. Its Wireless@Office service was launched in 2002. PacNet also is the first provider in Singapore to hold a Web conference, operate an Internet cafe, and transmit Web traffic with satellite technology. The firm acquired Pacific Supernet Limited, based in Hong Kong, in 1996. It also established an alliance with Zhong Ren Telecom in 2006. The company went public in 1999. It is listed on NASDAQ under the PCNTF symbol. The company had fiscal year 2004 revenues of $104 million (US). The firm has won recognition from 'Telecom Asia' and 'ComputerWorld.'
