It maintains operations in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, and Germany. It has joint venture operations in Italy, India, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The company's five machining facilities, based in the U.S. and Europe, employ optimized CNC technology. D-M-E was acquired by Milacron Incorporated's Plastics Technologies Group in 1996. Milacron, a plastics equipment, machine tool, and metalworking tool manufacturer, is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the MZ symbol. D-M-E was founded by Ted Quarnstrom.
