RealLegal LLC, founded in 1982 and based in Aurora, Colorado, provides law firms, courts, corporate legal departments, and government agencies with case management, transcript management, automated docketing, and other systems. It is known for the RealLegal Practice Manager (TM), RealLegal E-Transcript (TM), RealLegal Binder (TM), RealLegal Publisher (TM), RealLegal E-Brief (TM), RealLegal Exemplaris (TM), and RealLegal MA3000 (TM) products. The Practice Manager case management system was introduced in 1983 by PMTI. The firm offered the product to customers in the U.S., South America, and Europe. The E-Transcript, Binder, E-Brief, Exemplaris, and iBinder products were launched by PubNetics Incorporated, later renamed RealLegal.com, in 1997. In 2000, content and news provider Law.com acquired PMTI, realLegal.com, and Managing Attorney 3000 (MA3000), forming a new software development division. That division was branded RealLegal LLC in 2002. The company is owned by U.S. Equity Partners, a private equity investment fund sponsored by Wasserstein Perella & Company. RealLegal serves over 4,000 customers. It maintains offices in San Francisco, New York, and Lithuania. Bill Feid serves as the firm's president and CEO.
