In 2000, the firm raised $6 million in financing from Axalon Group Incorporated. In the same year, MarketResearch.com purchased Newsletters.com Incorporated. It also received investment capital from Tribune Ventures. In 2001, the company re-launched its Kalorama Academic market research report resource as MarketResearch.com Academic. MarketResearch.com's research list now encompasses 40,000 publications, which are drawn from 350 consulting firms. The company has formed partnerships with Proquest, formerly Bell & Howell, and with Simmons Market Research Bureau, Hoover's Incorporated, and AOL Netbusiness. MarketResearch.com has been recognized by Ravenshaw Associates as a leading market information and services company.
