The Pegasus Electronic Distribution switch technology, introduced in 1989, links 60,000 hotels across 200 countries to global distribution systems. It provides 40,000 hotels and travel agencies with commission processing services. The company is known for its RezView (R) CRS, Utell (R), Rate and Availability Engine (RAVE), PegsTour (R), and HotelFactory (TM) CRS, NetBooker, and UltraDirect (R) products and services. Approximately 50,000 reservations a day are processed by RezView CRS. RAVE processes over 3 million transactions per day. NetBooker is a demand booking service. Utell is a hotel representation service. PegsTour provides hotel groups with tour operator and wholesaler booking services. Pegasus Solutions maintains nine reservation call centers worldwide. The centers serve clients in 40 countries. Pegasus Solutions became the parent company of Travelweb, THISCO, and HCC in 1995. The firm acquired REZsolutions in 2000, GETS LLC in 2001, and Unirez in 2003. It invested in Travelweb LLC in 2002. The ownership stake in that firm was sold in 2004. Equity group Prides Capital Partners acquired Pegasus Solutions in 2006. Pegasus Solutions has won recognition from Deloitte & Touche.
