EarthLink (R) Incorporated, based in Atlanta, Georgia, is an ISP that offers dialup, broadband, Web hosting, and other services to over 5 million subscribers. The firm's EarthLink Protection PackPLUS (TM) suite, introduced in 2004, provides subscribers with data security tools. The joint venture has been funded with $440 million in partner investments. EarthLink is listed on NASDAQ. SK-Telecom is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the SKM symbol. EarthLink has won recognition from 'PC Magazine.' The firm is a member of the Global Internet Alliance, established in 2000, which addresses global roaming, customer data privacy, and standards development issues.
