The company has partnerships with several industry leaders, including CacheFlow, Check Point, Cisco Systems, Inktomi, Microsoft, and Nokia. Its client list includes Calvin Klein, Canon, and MetLife. Websense was launched in 1994 to sell Internet security solutions. It released its first product, Websense Internet Screening System, in 1996.
