Rasterex Incorporated, formerly Expert Graphics Incorporated, is the exclusive distributor of Rasterex products in North America. Expert Graphics was acquired by Rasterex (International) AS in February 1999. As the corporate presence for Rasterex in North America, Rasterex delivers document management and scanning solutions both through its network of experienced dealers and VARs and through its major-account program. Target users include utilities, government, large manufacturing, and mapping companies; however, its user base is diversified across a variety of industries. Rasterex also works with Oce-USA, a manufacturer of engineering copiers, plotters, and scanners, to provide clients with a complete document management solution. Major accounts include Virginia Power, General Motors, Hallmark Cards, and Estee Lauder. Rasterex AS was formed in 1985 in Norway. The company has maintained close ties with Autodesk, the fourth largest software company in the world and the largest CAD supplier. Rasterex's RxTDM technology is integrated in AutoCAD products.
