Innovations for High Performance Microelectronics (IHP) GmbH, is a non-profit organization headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany. IHP is a premier research and innovation center for wireless communication technology. Its solutions in wireless and broadband communications are technologies for the future, and include prototypes of circuits and systems. IHP’s core competencies include communication systems design for wireless communication, RF circuit design, further research in CMOS technology, and research in semiconductor materials. IHP also offers services, including technologies and transfer of modules, process module support, failure mode analysis and diagnostics, and XRR & HRXRD simulation. IHP’s three research programs are Wireless Internet: Systems and Applications, Technology Platform for Wireless and Broadband, and Materials for Micro- and Nanoelectronics. IHP delivers MultiProject Wafer (MPW) and prototyping service and solutions for wireless communication and microelectronics, automotive, aerospace, and life sciences. IHP offers transfer of 0.25 µm BiCMOS technologies and technology modules (HBT-Modules, LDMOS-Modules) for wireless and broadband communication. IHP provides SiGe BiCMOS technologies for applications in the higher GHz bands.
