TecTrends: Dawson Holdings PLC

Dawson Holdings PLC, established in 1809, provides publishers of newspapers, magazines, academic books, digital media content, and marketing point of sale materials with distribution and other supply chain services. The company encompasses the Dawson News, Dawson Media Direct (DMD), Dawson Books, and Dawson Marketing Services (DMS) businesses. The Dawson News wholesale and specialist news distribution service generates the largest amount of revenue for the firm. Worldwide Magazine Distribution (WWMD), a joint venture with W.H. Smith News and John Menzies, delivers specialist magazines to approximately 3,300 non-traditional news retailers. DMD offers airline industry clients distribution, subscription management, and other inflight management services. Dawson Books produces shelf-ready books for clients across the corporate, academic, and public library sectors. DMS offers clients stock management, web reporting, and other marketing support and logistics services. Dawson Holdings has acquired McGregor Subscription Incorporated, BFG (Holdings) Limited, Marketlink Marketing Communications Limited, and other firms. Dawson Holdings was founded by William Dawson. The company was listed on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market in 1995. It was listed on the full market of the London Stock Exchange in 1998. Shares are traded under the DWN symbol.

The live search will display the most relevant records and will limit the results by type if any of the Companies, TecTerms, or Products checkboxes are checked. In order to perform a full search based on what you have typed into the search box you may hit the 'Go' button.

Helpful information on the status of your search is displayed on the line above the search box so you can tell when a search is in progress or if no matches were found. You can also use the Options menu to change the result type filters (checkboxes), browse all records alphabetically using the directory, and search for articles.

To close and open the live search result list click on the down arrow at the right of the search box.

To increase or decrease the size of the live search result list you can click on the [+] or [-] button at the bottom of the live search results.
By default the results are sorted by popularity. To sort by record name click on the 'Name' column header and to sort by popularity click on the 'weight' column header.
