The company has deployed fixed, mobile, broadband, and data communications networks that are accessed by customers in 18 countries. The firm's enterprise services unit manages businesses' IT and telecommunications infrastructure. TeliaSonera is known for its K'Cell, Azercell, Geocell, MegaFon, Halebop, NetCom, Teo, EMT, and Yoigo brands. Yoigo provides subscribers in Spain with IP services. The company also acquired ComHouse in 2008. Telia, originally known as Televert, was formed as public service corporation by the Swedish government. It was relaunched as a limited company in 1993. Sonera was formed as Finland's telegraph agency in 1917. The Finnish government partially privatized the office in 1997. Finland maintains a majority stake in the company. TeliaSonera is listed on the Stockholm and Helsinki stock exchanges. The company is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
