SchoolTube (R) LLC operates a media sharing website that serves K-12 educators and students. Posted content is approved by registered teachers and comply with local school guidelines. Videos are uploaded to a holding area. E-mails then are sent to moderators, prompting them to view and evaluate content. Students who employ the SchoolTube.com resource can enter national video contests, broadcast weekly news programs for schools or districts, and share videos. Content is organized into arts, community service, music, speech and debate, sports, club, travel, and other categories. Teachers use the platform to exchange lesson plans and other information with instructors across the United States. Teachers also use the resource to archive videos. Administrators use SchoolTube.com to post outreach, event, and other content. Parents also can access online content. SchoolTube provides platform users with the MVP video player.
