WikiAdvocacy provides advocacy groups with professional development information. WikiGenetics is an open source, user-generated genetics information resource for the general public. The organization has received U.S. government health agency grants that support consumer genetics education and family health history programs. A 2005 grant from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) supports the Access to Credible Genetics Resources Network project. Genetic Alliance also accepts donations from individuals.
