The company is known for its proprietary ChimeriVax (TM) technologies, developed in alliance with St. Louis University, Sanofi Pasteur, and Bharat Biotech. ChimeriVax-JE is a Japanese encephalitis virus vaccine. ChimeriVax-West Nile is a West Nile virus vaccine. ChimeriVax-Dengue prevents dengue fever. The company has developed the world's only Clostridium difficile bacteria vaccine. Acambis' ACAM-FLU-A (TM), in clinical trials, is a universal vaccine against influenza.
