ICAM Technologies Corporation was established in 1971 by John J. Nassr and is composed of two main marketing divisions. ICAM Technologies Corporation, located in Quebec, which specializes in the field of CAD/CAM system post-processing, supplies numerical control post-processor generator software, custom NC post-processors, and related products and services. JobShop Software Solutions is located in Troy, Michigan, and is a supplier of a full line of CAD/CAM software and applications for reverse engineering. The products are available through direct sales, dealers, and distributors. ICAM has customers located in more than 35 countries throughout the world, representing a broad range of industry sectors from small job shops to multinational corporations such as Aerospatiale, British Aerospace (Dynamics), Caterpillar, Daimler Benz, Federal Mogul Corporation, General Motors Corporation, and GIAT Industries. ICAM released its CAM-POST post-processor developer in 1983. In 1993, ICAM added such advanced features as rapid macro development and 3D cutter compensation. In 2001, CAM-POST was upgraded with a fully automated coordinate-frame transformation tool. CAM-POST now offers a complete machine simulation system and 5D machining features.
