The company was founded by Milt Bryce. It is a division of M&JB Investment Company. MBA is known for its patented PRofitable Information by DEsign, or PRIDE (R), information resource management methodology. The framework supports the development and management of information resource projects. The company provides clients with business modeling, business objective prioritization, legacy system documentation, system integration, user manual development, database design, and other training services. It also offers customers a PRIDE certification program. MBA also is known for its PRIDE-Logical Organizing and Gathering of Information Knowledge, or PRIDE-LOGIK, data dictionary. PRIDE-LOGIK supports data management and documentation processes. The company's Automated Design Facility (ADF), introduced in 1979, automatically develops information systems and databases. The system was renamed Information Resource Manager (IRM) in 1981. MBA introduced its PRIDE Database Engineering Methodology (DBEM) in 1987. In the same year, ADF was renamed Automated Systems Engineering (ASE). The PRIDE Enterprise Engineering Methodology (EEM) was introduced in 1988.
