DDI Incorporated, founded in 1980 and based in Glenview, Illinois, provides legal, accounting, and other professional services firms with practice management and financial data processing systems. The company originally was known for its TIMEBILL time and billing product. In 1986, the firm introduced its DDI*Law and DDI*Timetrak products. The systems were merged into the DDI* for Professionals product in the mid-1990s. DDI* for Professionals, which operates on the Microsoft (R) Windows (R), UNIX, and Linux platforms, includes time and billing, trust accounting, conflict checking, court docketing, staff scheduling, and other practice management features. It also offers users general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, fixed asset management, reporting, and security tools. The system handles a variety of file formats. It can be accessed through Microsoft Word (R), WordPerfect, and other ODBC applications. DDI provides clients with technical support and training services. The company was founded by Judith Mack.
