At this year's Tokyo Motor Show many companies are going to unveil their plans for more eco-friendly cars. These cars are designed to produce reduced carbon dioxide emissions. Despite the fact that these cars are not likely to hit the market for many years, Japan's auto makers are determined to create models that are good for the environment and allow drivers to feel better about their choice in transportation. Honda Motor Company is expected to display a fuel-cell-powered van that runs on hydrogen and only has water as a byproduct emission. This car is referred to as PUYO. The Toyota Motor Company will be revealing their small electric vehicle called i-Real. The vehicle is designed to look like a sleek stroller. It has two wheels in the front and one wheel in the back and the seat reclines. Another vehicle that Toyota has created, aimed at younger consumers, is the Hi-CT. This vehicle has a trunk that detaches from the rest of the vehicle like a suitcase. It also has a deck for the storage of surfboards, bicycles and other similar equipment. RiN is another vehicle that is ecologically friendly. It will emit oxygen on demand. The PIVO 2, being showcased by the Nissan Motor Company, has an upper body which can rotate in a complete circle and boasts a sensor that the company says can actually detect the mood of the driver.
