Kaspersky has been the forerunner in the development of automated malware detection and signature creation tools. The company has also deployed a nimble response staff that guarantees new signatures every hour. But releasing these capabilities to the enterprise market entails a management infrastructure. The investment that Kaspersky has allocated to building this infrastructure signifies less resources for innovation in the area of security. Now that Kaspersky has built its central management platform in the form of the Admin Kit, its products capability to implement client packages, malware signatures and policies has matured to meet the expectations of business customers.
