Celequest's Celequest Activity Suite 3.5 uses streaming database technology to swiftly reveal exceptions and trends that require a quick response. The software correlates real-time events with historic data to point out meaningful trends, and business users can model scenarios without difficulty. The graphical user interface (GUI) is easy to use and learn, and the rules processor is time-aware to track trends of a specific duration. No native database connectivity is supported, and Celequest Activity Suite 3.5 omits built-in advanced data quality features such as probabilistic matching and householding. No version control mechanism is provided. Celequest is well positioned in the business activity monitoring (BAM) market with Celequest Activity Suite 3.5, which uses patent-pending streaming database technology for monitoring of business events, including order cancellations, and to compare thresholds with historical data from a data warehouse. Therefore, Celequest Activity Suite 3.5 can alert users to exception conditions in real-time. The core of the suite is the Activity Server, which uses a streaming data store for analysis of events in memory, without loading it into a physical database. The Agent Processor captures events from various sources, including eXtensible Markup Language (XML) documents, messaging/enterprise application integration (EAI) events, applications events (including those from PeopleSoft and SAP), Web services, database events, and custom events (using a software developers kit). Operation Dashboards provide views of alerts, real-time metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) and also launch actions or workflows based on the alerts. An Application Workbench and Administration Console provide a graphical user interface (GUI) for IT developers who configure and maintain Celequest Activity Suite 3.5.
