Motorola's RAZR thinnest-available cellphone is an excellent design that has won many awards, including the CNET Editor's Choice Award and the Asian Mobile News Award Phone of the Year. The performance of the RAZR V3 caused Motorola's cellphone market share to rise by 5.5% to 19%, which put Motorola in second place behind Nokia. The RAZR's physical design is the best available, with an external case of anodized aircraft-grade aluminum and an internal housing of magnesium. The antenna layout fits the spark package and provides better performance over earlier designs. The standard GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication)/General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) phone covers the four GSM bands of 850/900/1800/1900MHz and runs in the U.S., Europe, and many areas of Asia, and the quad band antenna is fully internal. Also described are the RAZRs included most-wanted advanced features. Motorola recently announced the RAZR Black and magenta, pink, and ice blue models. Also available is the RAZR V3i, which has a new spun aluminum hosing and all the most modern audio and video multimedia features, including a full-screen viewfinder and other features. Users can also share photos via e-mail or Multimedia Messaging Service and can store photos on a removable, hot-swappable MicroSD memory card or print the photo directly from the phone. RAZR is no longer only a GSM/GPRS phone, but also is available as the CDMA RAZR with EV-DO and the RAZR V3x, which is a 3G/UMTS RAZR CDMA model for Asia and Europe.
