JBoss JBoss Network Enterprise Manager gives managers of JBoss applications the tools needed to make JBoss a safe selection for mission-critical deployments. Modules include Inventory, Administration, and JBoss Network Monitoring. Inventory permits cataloging of IT assets across platforms, servers, and services. Assets can be added manually or automatically discovered to increase visibility over key business applications, including versions and dependencies. Administration offers a central location for conduct of key control functions, including start, stop, and restart across the whole JBoss Enterprise Middleware System (JEMS) platform. JBoss Network Monitoring Module is priced separately and offers broad-based agent-enabled monitoring abilities for JEMS, as well as supporting components, including operating systems (OSs), Apache Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, and users own JEMS-based applications. JBoss Network Enterprise Manager is for management and monitoring of JEMS deployments and is included in every JBoss Network Subscription plan at no extra cost. The JBoss Web site says more modules will soon be added, including a Software Update module that will give JBoss Middleware Windows Update-type abilities.
