Apple Computer's iPod Nano, SIRIUS Satellite Radio's SIRIUS S50, and Sony's PSP are among many reviewed new products, including handhelds. For instance, the iPod Nano was released just 35 days before the most recent iPod, but is only 20% the size of the original iPod, which was followed by 16 more models for a total of over 30 million sold. The first six iPod entries emerged in two years, and the last eight emerged in under eight months. The Toyota Highlander hybrid has a new gauge called the Energy Monitor that tells the driver when the car is running on battery, when the battery is recharging, and when the gas engine takes over. The Sony PSP has an immersive screen for playing games and movies and also has built-in Wi-Fi for playing over the network with other PSP-based players or surfing the Web. The Sony EyeToy camera makes the user the controller, allowing him or her to put the camera on the TV and point it toward himself or herself to interact with computer-generated elements on the screen. Also highlighted are the Sirius S50, the Motorola High-Def DVR, the RRS 140 wireless headphones, the ThinkPad Z60t, and the Tibor Everglades fishing reel.
