The Developer edition has tools that support JavaServer Faces and the new lang features of J2SE 5.0. The Enterprise release, which is reviewed, has the most features. JBuilder 2005 Enterprise is an all-Java integrated development environment (IDE) written by Java developers for Java developers. Support is provided for EJBs, Web services, eXtensible Markup Language (XML), mobile, and database applications development. JBuilder 2005 Enterprise, which is priced at the high end, provides built-in support for Java 5.0 (previously called JDK 1.5), new source-code audit and security audit features, the new CaliberRM plug-in, and UML code visualization. The user interface is savvy and attractive, as well as fast and responsive. Windows are customizable, generally via drag-and-drop.
