Outsourcing vendors such as Bangalore, India-based Infosys Technologies and New Jersey-based EPAM Systems, are reaping a lot of revenue these days. Offshoring may be a hot political issues this year in the United States, but the fact remains that the trend in offshoring continues to grow and what fuels offshoring is not political sway but saving companies money. For many companies, eliminating or reducing global IT expenses and IT staff are the big reasons they continue to send a good deal of their operations outside of the United States. Another consideration is that many companies can consolidate business units into central locations with little disruption to business. While offshoring remains a small segment of the overall labor issue, the numbers are rising, with more outsourcing firms sprouting to evangelize the benefits of outsourcing.
