KnowledgeBase Solutions' KnowledgeBase.net 4.0 is a good content management tool for building and maintaining a knowledgebase of internal and external information. It has good workflow and document management tools. It manages information extremely well and has all the features needed to build sophisticated self-service support applications. It has an attractive price tag, which is two to three times less than many content management products in the market. It supports few server platforms, namely Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 or later. Microsoft's SQL Server 2000, Internet Information Services (IIS), and Indexing Services are also required. It gives users the ability to create new documents from a variety of options or build on existing content. Using an API, KnowledgeBase.net can easily integrate content within corporate portals. It supports four access types, giving companies flexibility in building document- centered applications.
