A consultant's approach to a series of articles called 'Our Environment' is described. Topics covered include sites for environment health and safety (EHS); occupational health and safety (OHS); industry- specific health and safety; activity-specific health and safety; location-specific health and safety; and age-specific injuries. Also discussed are resources that concentrate on measurement of improvements made over time to prevent and control injury. The site of the American Hygiene Association allows non-members to search for environmental health and safety consultants, accredited labs, and continuing education availability, and various other sites useful for EHS resources are highlighted. Sites for athletes and others participating in sports include the site of the Transportation Division of the City of Walnut Creek, which provides information on Bicycle Safety. Sites of use to those researching age-specific injuries include Legal Medical Web and those that concentrate on women's health, including NIH's Women's Health topics. When information for improvement measurement is needed, the site of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control can provide information regarding violence, unintentional injuries, and prevention programs.
